What you can expect

Several presentations are available to instructors who are invited to tailor the experience to the topics under discussion in their classrooms. Age-appropriate stories are presented by Mr. Jefferson and students are encouraged to ask him questions to hear about the great man’s life in his own words.

From stories about the beginnings of the United States and his presidency to the more complex topics of slavery, race, and the Enlightenment, Mr. Jefferson will share his history for approximately 20 minutes. He is then available to take students’ prepared questions or can be interviewed by an instructor to further explore his life and times.

Interactive presentations allow students to engage Mr. Jefferson directly and to hear from him, in his own words, about his beliefs and actions in the early days of our country.

Whether you are looking to have Mr. Jefferson meet a 5th grade class or to speak to college seniors, the information presented will have your students feeling that they are really speaking to the third president of the United States.
